I tried changing the wm from kde to fluxbox, in the knoppix-autoconfig file, and now, knoppix wont start flux. I get this error that i dont have enough memory to open fluxbox, and it quits to a shell. Now, if i do startx /usr/bin/fluxbox, X, and fluxbox start up perfectly fine.

I have no clue whats going on. I remastered knoppix using fluxbox, but i didnt like the size, so i figured i could start with a scaled down version of knoppix, and work on it from there. Sadly, no dice.

Any clues?

also, i forgot to mention, i have 384mb of ram
