Hello, i am Jason from Milton keynes. I am setting up a registered charity to send Linux Pc's to poor schools in Africa and other poor places.
The first porject will be to send a PC to a poor school or library in Kenya with a custom distro designed for simple educational, math, programming and internet use.

skitzojase,
Very noteworthy, and a very good idea, you go!
I dont think "the other OS" is doing anything like this... and, then again, you are giving a system that will actually WORK without having to be re-installed, get new licenses, or, spend hours downloading more and more security updates, instead of actually allowing them to use the system for its intended purpose; education, and learning.
I commend you; not only for the idea, but, making it happen

Just as a suggestion, would it be a good idea to, rather than try going it alone, you could try to work with existing organisations.
In order to draw on their experiance, and also so you will have people at that end who you can interact with.
What i'm getting at is, that there will need to be some support at that end. Some people with Linux familiarity, to setboxes up and install an OS etc.
If you were to establish those contacts first, then you could provide links to those organisations, showing that a working plan actually exists.
Which would help to provide the confidence needed to encourage the other needs.
While, like above, i agree that it is a worthy idea, there isn't much on your page that describes yourself. Possibly some aditional info, on such things as your background/experiance etc, would also be helpful to get things up and running.
Good Luck
