Apt-get Error

Hi folks,
When trying to upgrade with apt I get the error message below. Any ideas anyone, please?

Reading Package Lists... Error!
E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room
E: Error occured while processing gnome-gnotski (NewFileVer1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/mirror.aarnet.edu.au_pub_debian_dis ts_stable_main_binary-i386_Packages
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

I found the answer here:

Which directs you to edit the /etc/apt/apt.conf file by adding

APT {
Cache-Limit "12582915";
};

This worked for me.
