which files do i download there are so many? sorry if this sounds newbie but this is my first attempt at getting linux also wut is the diffence between -en -de? thx

Get the latest version, dated 2005-09-23, in either English (-EN) or German (-DE).

The file you wish to get is the _large_ one. The smaller files are check files to test the integrity of the main file.

The knoppix iso file is an image of what is to be written to a cd. When you burn the cd, use the option in your software to burn an "ISO Image" or something similar.
