3.2 trouble

I booted from the 3.2 iso disk, entered
knoppix lang=us
3.2 screen comes up, says loading services, then loading
window goes away and the 3.2 screen is on the display.

But, I can't get it to do anything else?

Is there something to add to the boot line to
get it to up up a console or gui interface?

It's possible that you have burned CD from corrupted ISO image.
Test the CD or the ISO.

Try knoppix testcd or you could try failsafe a list of cheat codes.
