Knoppix 5.0 HDD install - Stuck at X Server Login Screen

There is no problem for Knoppix 5.0 (boot from iso) to run on my computer. Everything is working.

However, the HDD install using sudo knoppix-installer with debian option causes stuck at login screen problem. The display just return to login screen again after login with user and password. Anyone has the same problem?

This is to update that the stuck at X Server login problem was sloved by adding the following at grub menu

initrd /boot/initrd.img

However, the following problems surface after login:
1. Unable to mount any NTFS Hard Drive
2. Can not detect the sound device
3. Need to configure the network manually
