autostarting apps after x starts

hi, how can i customize a knoppix cd to autostart xine or kaffeine in full screen mode and open a video file ?
and how to install xpde on a knoppix livecd, any help ? :d links to read

I don't have any link for you but the best place to start is the .KDE folder and it should have a starup folder in there.

/home/knoppix/.kde/Autostart

Find the showindex file that starts with knoppix and that should give you enough to edit and save a new file using the app you want.

If you just want to have video on your livecd, I would suggest you create it using movix or movix2.
K3b also support movix. You only need to choose new eMovix project from k3b menu and drag & drop your video.
