Getting knopix started

I got this old pc
239 ram
graphic card has 32 colors so it's ok
cpu x86 family 15 model 4 stepping 1
everything else ok
still when i run knoppix btw i got the old 3.4
after it auto do things i just get a black screen and thats it .... any help please?

you best bet is to try using the different hardware detection cheatcodes,hope that helps, idk which one will solve your problem though, looks like you might be stuck w/ trial and error
