How to execute the Exe in the RedHat Linux GRUB prompt?
hi 2 every body,
i installed the RedHat Linux 9.0 in my system with GRUB boot loader and also Created the Boot Floppy for the linux.
Now, i boot through the boot floppy and display the GRUB shell prompt. I want to run the EXE in the grub prompt. already i executed the grub.exe file its executing always. But other exe/application doesn't execute.
Please help me How to execute the exe/application in the grub prompt.?

I don't understand what you mean, you have a grub prompt, are you trying to set it up
> setup (hd0,0)
Puts grub on the boot sector for hda
> setup (hd0,2)
Puts grub on the boot sector for partition 3 on the hda
> root (hd0,2)
Installs the secondary files on the 3rd partition of hda
Best to check the docs as i haven't looked at grub for a while and don't do it much., grubs html set is quite good. Should be available on the install disc.
Are you in a menu ?, can you type "help", are there menu items ?. It is possible to give a cli at the prompt. Is that what you mean ?
