the folder KNOPPIX and the file KNOPPIX have to be in the root dir,
e.g.
/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX
I'm not sure what you are using to boot the boot.img, but you could try using isolinux as described in the custom kernel howto in the docs ( http://www.knoppix.net/docs/index.ph...tomKernelHowto )
