I am using Knoppix 3.2 running from image on hd, with persistent home, and it's just !

But I have a BTC optical ps/2 mouse that works fine in Windows, but under X, the mouse pointer doesn't respond to slow mouse movements! The cursor only moves with a certain mouse speed, which doesn't allow me precise movements!
Does anyone know how to solve this?!
