bootting knoppix from grub.

i'd like to have the following system.
1. knoppix iso on the hdd
2. a dd image file empty to as /home
3. knoppix toram be started from iso on hdd.
4. /home to be mounted on the dd image

is this possibe.

Items 1 and 3 are basically referring to a "Poor Man's Install" or "PMI". Search these forums or use the link to the documents section for further instructions on how to go about doing that. As for the dd /home folder I am too new to doing this myself to further expound upon that.

thanks. i figured it probably possbile but its better to ask.
i did a google search but could not find the answer (probably phrasing the question wrong)
. i'll try the poor man install and see if that works.
