writing problem with usb pen

I have my usb pen mounted and i can c the stuff and read them perfectly except wen i want to copy or move anything to the pen i get an access denied error..wats the prob?!

is it mounted read write? if not remount it rw. rightklick and choose i have been told, i do that manually. so...
