Im trying to get knoppix 3.9 to give my LAN clients acces whilst I sort out a little (!) HD problem.

from my server ive got an extrnal IP address via DHCP and ive manually set a static Ip address on my LAN NIC (eth0)

the clients get an IP address from the server and I can ping the server .

But ive no access to the internet ( either with pinging a name or an IP adress)

Ive missed something out or done something wrong (but ive no idea what ) it was working yesterday!
