    Probleme beim Booten

    Hi,
    ich will eine datensicherung von meinem lappy machen.
    beim laden der hardware versucht dieser den pcmcia slot zu überprüfen:

    PCMCIA found. starting cardmgr

    nach dieser meldung bleibt der rechner stehen, es passiert nichts mehr ://

    Kann man diese PCMCIA überprüfung irgendwie am anfang deaktivieren, brauche ja nur ne kde oberfläche und die netzwerktreiber...

    schonmal danke im vorraus....

    //EDIT benutze Knoppix 5.0.1 (gleicher fehler bei der 3.7)
