screen problem

hi all,
i downloaded the latest version of knoppix 5.o and i tried to boot from it. i am having a samsung tft model syncmaster510n. when i boot from knoppix the initial screen comes after pressing the enter nothing comings instead a msg saying "Not Optimum mode Recommended mode 1024 *768 60Hz" and after waiting for a while the KDE desktop comes and it works. The same case occurs when i shutdown the machine. when i click the shutdown option this message comes and after a while it shutdown properly.

what could i do to avoid this....
