I finally got knoppix to install, but when I reboot it, it says grub error 17 before anything boots, what does this mean and how can I fix it from the knoppix cd.
I fixed that, now it will start to boot, then it says
"Warning: /proc/ide/hd?/settings interface is obsolete, and it will be deleted soon"
Then it does this for my cd, hd, and zip deives
Enabling DMA acceleration for: "name of drive"
then it just stops loading and does nothing.
