Press F2 or F3 and you should be able to say no detection and get around that.
Using the Live CD, Knoppix boots, recognises all my devices, and gets as far as "Starting udev hot plug hardware detection"..."Autoconfiguring devices". At which point, apart from a little X rotating and a green bar being painted across my monitor, nothing appears to happen. I've let this go on for over an hour before eventually pulling the plug.
Is there any way around this?
Do I need to have my devices autoconfigured/
Thanks in advance
