Knoppix 3.3 did support monitor mode e.g.

modprobe orinoco_cs
iwpriv eth.. shows monitor

In later Knoppix versions including 5.1 I can't find this feature.

Is there a diffrent way to set wlan card (Orinoco silver) into monitor mode?

I appreciate any comments.
