Knoppix is not booting from DVD

Hello !

This is my 1st contact with Knoppix
For some reason my Windows is no longer starting, additionaly I can´t enter the BIOS. I always have
CD/DVD as my 1st boot device so I am able to start Knoppix, but only to the 1st step when deciding to boot
from CD /DVD. But it does not react on pressing enter.

So I have no idea on how to deal with this problem, is there anybody who may help me ???

It sounds as though your keyboard is not responding or other hardware failure. If you cannot enter BIOS setup, then the keyboard, or keyboard controller is failing to see the key press.
Is your keyboard wired or wireles??
Also more information: What error message do you see when windows doesnt start?
