got the ISO booting stuff working but now i've got a somewhat odd isssue now that it's booting.
Namely, all of my drives shy the one the ISO is on are showing up mounted as /cdrom
partitions i've got on my system
hda1
hda5
hdb5
hdb6 (where the iso)
hdd5

only hda6 shows up normally, the rest only show the contents of the knoppix "cd"

hdc is the dvd+/-RW drive that prompted this, as the windows install doesn't like it and linux does. (and I was feeling lazy and this seemed like an ideal solution as I didn't have to install anything)

anyone have any idea what's going on and how I can fix this?
(apologies if this has been posted before but I don't exactly have the time to wade through the 52+ pages of the iso boot thread)

edit: a reboot and a lockup later now all of the drives show up mounted as /cdrom
