Screen Resolution
I'm currently having a problem with changing my screen resolution on my home. I can get it to change on default, by putting screen=1600x1200 in the syslinux.cfg at the end of the second line. But for some reason it won't transfer to my home image. Does anyone have any ideas.
I'm currently using knoppix 5.0.1 LiveCD on my USB, and the home image is also located on my thumb drive.
Thank you

hi
u can try starting xserver as user knoppix.
and than in the K menu>control center>Peripherals>display change it to desired resolution.
but if u try to open control center it will prompt for root password, so make sure u should first set root password.
this is not d best solution of ur problem but it'll work.
regards
