Ok i got a dieing harddrive. I recovered what i could through ftp and sent it in for rma, this means im going to be for ~week without a harddrive and will be using knoppix for all my surfing needs.

These are my system specs

e6600
p5wdh deluxe
pny 7600gt
ocz 2gb

and the monitor is

Dell E228WFP

The resolutions i can use via the latest 5.1.1 knoppix are

1152x864, 1024x768, 800x600, 640x480, 832x264, 768x576

i need a 1680x1050@60hz, how do i do that, i want to have a enjoyable resolution, all the other ones are just too big for my taste and arnt native to my monitor.
