I had an issue with the Debian install of Knoppix not detecting my network and sound cards. I read on these forums that a Beginner (multi-user) install might work.
I tried this but now when I try to run Knoppix off my hard drive I recieve an error message.

It reads
:Error 18

I have no idea what that means, and am a bit of a lunux noob, so any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
