Problem with my CDMA USB modem
Ok, I've downloaded knoppix, burnt the image - and it boots up fine. However it won't recognise my USB 'CDMA wireless network' telephone modem. (Huawei ETS228
. I've tried installing the (Windows) driver and this puts an icon on the desktop to connect to the service - but nothing happens.
I assume Knoppix hasn't 'seen' my modem. What do I do?
I'm completely new to Linux, so please be gentle with me!!
