hello! i have a rather big problem... i can't set up the network card for a pc that uses knoppix and connects through a router... i tried to enable the dhcp broadcasting...but it failed... can anyone guide me in setting it up?

And explain how it failed. Give error messages, output of ifconfig and so on.
