The first time that i ran knoppix 5.1 live cd on a laptop with a speedtouch 330 (silver) USB modem, the modem worked really fine and knoppix automatically configured it.
Then it never worked again.. it worked only the first time.
I'll try to install driver and firmare, there are a lot of how to and i hope it will work out the problem...

But i'd like to know WHY the first time knoppix made the modem work fine, and what i can do to repeat that!
