need help to boot from cd

i had burn knoppix 3.7..
but, the problem is, my laptop acer aspire 5570 cant load it..
is it a problem with my laptop..?
or.. the cd..
can sumone plz help me solve this problem..

It has nothing to do with SBM. You made the CD improperly, selecting an option "make bootable" in Nero or a similar option in other burning software. The downloading faq covers that and several other things that you'll also need to know to get a reliable burn. Read the entire FAQ, check the md5 of the iso that you downloaded, burn it slowly according to the directions in the FAQ and it very likely will boot just fine.

i burn it as bootable disc..

That was one of your mistakes. I knew that as soon as I saw the DR-DOS reference. But I expect that you have made other mistakes also, like not checking the md5 sum. So I pointed you to the FAQ, which covers all of the things that you'll need to know. If your next CD doesn't boot you'll want to read the entire FAQ and understand why.

i should read all the FAQ first.
b4 this, first, i burn the cd with bootable format..
i correct it.. but, i didn't do the md5..
n problem occur.. i can't load knoppix..
then i use md5 b4 burn my cd..
everything was like magic to me..
i can load knoppix n started to use it...
