Knoppix on a Intel based Mac

Will Knoppix run on one of the newer Intel based Macs?

I have booted the new v5.3 DVD (in english). Most hardware appears to work with the exception of the wireless NIC. The hardware detection did not find a wireless card - I assume a driver is needed. I am trying to track down what driver is needed, and if on is available. I have not tried the wired ethernet adapter, but have read elsewhere that it works.

i'm having no luck whith my triple boot...where i get stuck is everytime i select to boot the Linux live cd/dvd in rEFIt, all i get is either the Tux in the background and freeze, or get past the tux, but freezes in terminal blak screen with the blinking cursor in the top left side...both times the rom is spinning, but hangs there...i've tried ubuntu, suse and knoppix so far, same behaviour...i have the newest Macbook intel c2d 2.4 ghz...
any ideas are welcomed
