/etc/sysconfig, who use it ?
Hi,
I find that KNOPPIX has this directory to store a number of things but a fresh deboostraped debian system doesn't have such a directory. What I want to know is, is this setting a universal linux thing or it is specific to a KNOPPIX(may be others like Red Hat too) ?

RedHat and Mandrake have /etc/sysconfig directories.

thanks, after reading through the script, I know it is just a KNOPPIX thing.
