hi everybody,
I have been using the knoppix live CD 5.1.1 DE a few times for partitioning/system recovery and I was never asked for a password.
Now I tried the DVD 5.1.1 EN and it asks me for a password when I want to start system tools like qtparted. What's the point of having a root pw on a distributed, bootable DVD? And what is it? I'm really lost here...
