Unable to boot Knoppix 3.2 from CD Correctly

I have a HP pavilon when i boot knoppix 3.2 it boots fine just i can not use my touch pad as a mouse is there a reason, or a solution?

Knoppx 3.2? Thats pretty old, and the most likely reason that your touchpad doesnt work is that there is either no support for
it as a kernel module, or other hardwrae has not been recognised.

Try downloading knoppix 5.1.1 CD, theres a good chance touchpad will work.
Depending on what you want to do, I always find it quicker using the keyboard
