I've always been a big fan of knoppix and also of squashfs, (since sfs 1.1?). So what are the steps to changing the compressed image to another type? Since Squashfs probably has superior speed and lookups, and with LZMA added on (2.4.24 patched kernel) it would probably take a current version and take the 700Mb to 450Mb, leaving a lot more room for documentation and tools. (it also detects duplicate files and reduces space)

With this in mind, What are the necessary steps to change the FS and take out zloop and replace it with squashfs?
