Hi all,

I am new to linux and all its flavor. When I was installing Ubuntu 7.04 and 8, I was having problem installing them, until some one in the ubunto forum suggested to use the following switch :

all_generic_ide floppy=off irqpoll

And I successfully loaded ubunto. Now I am having problem with Knoppix. Could any body please suggest an equivalent command for Knoppix. I tried this switch but it did not work. Thanks
