Hello,
--- solved - if possible this subject can be deleted - it is no profit for anybody ---
--- excuse my question - I have not seen that in the Lexmark driver download selection mask , ---
--- you have to select the Linux distribution as you see in the following ---
--- but this selection seems to has no effect - at the next page you get offered a driver ---
--- which according to the description there, should be for all the three distributions ---
I like to get a Lexmark X74 to print with KNOPPIX 5.3.1 DVD.
On http://home.online.no/~enrio/ is a hint that Lexmark
offers a Linux driver for its Z35 printer, which would work with X74.
Now I found that Lexmark offers this Z35-driver for 3 Linux-distributions:
- Mandrake
- Red Hat
- SuSE
Which one would you test first? - Which distribution is nearest to Knoppix?
See you any chance to get any of this to work with KNOPPIX?
Thanks in advance.
