Hi ive been using knoppix for about a week, ive had experiance with other linuxes (sp?) like debian and kubuntu and everything was going great until i installed frets on fire, i knew how to deal with the instalation problems, but when i go to edit the xorg.conf file it says i dont have the permissions, so i changed the root permissions thinking that it would be inherited permissions but its not, how do i edit my xorg file? ive googled this alot and nothing came up so i took it to you guys, (i hope its in the right forum) thanks.
