My windows XP system crashed. I am using Knoppix to recover the files. What files or file should I used to boot from? I was on the mirror site from the University of Purdue.

Any helpful hints on booting would be great also.
Thanks,
Negzel

Verifying of md5 checksum and burning a CD at slow speed are important.
that is not the most up to date mirror i have seen, the
two files
# KNOPPIX_V5.1.1CD-2007-01-04-EN.iso
# KNOPPIX_V5.1.1CD-2007-01-04-EN.iso.md5
should be enopugh for a look and most file recovery operations.
but NEVER try to write to a NTFS hdd with Linux, i have seen far to many crashed filesystems to trust that, looking and copying from is ok.
