Formating with Qparted
When using Qparted to prepare a hard disk for use, there is no mention of formating. You choose a file system and a size for each partition you want on the disk and when all partitions are created, you click on apply.
If all goes well, you get a message saying “ All actions completed successfully”
At this point, is the disk both partitionned and formated or is formating yet to be done by a separate process.
