I want to install Knoppix 5.1 on Presario 2500 with USB Microsoft Mouse.
When I use standard kernel 2.6.19, all is OK, with the following output:

"USB Found managed by Udev"
Udev - Starting Hot Plug hardware detection...."

I try to compile new kernel 2.6.29.1, but unfortunately the kernel hang:

Udev - Starting Hot Plug hardware detection ...."

The only way to boot succesfully is to use "nousb" command line inside the file "/boot/grub/menu.lst"

Why on the new kernel 2.6.29.1, USB "is not found and managed by Udev"?

How to solve this problem?
