I have a problem with mkxorgconfig running knoppix on thinkpad x40. My video is intel 852/855GME. Knoppix 6.2.1 is not booting in normal mode due to some bug in mkxorgconfig, but it boots fine with fb1024x768 option using fbdev driver. I replaced mkxorgconfig from the old version of KNOPPIX 6.2 and it boots ok but I can only use fbdev and vesa drivers - intel driver is not working for some reason.
My question is - is this due to the new intel driver included in 6.2.1 or is it some bug in mkxorgconfig
