How does Knoppix handle "home=" when booting "
I am in the planning phase of a Knoppix CD use system.
If I boot "Knoppix toram" it will load so that I am running total in ram without CD assistance.
My QUESTION:
If I create a "persistent" Home directory and I specify it at boot time (via
Knoppix toram home=/dev/sd5) will Knoppix load just the CD contents or will it load the HOME directory into memory as well. too?
I would like to load my system's programs-package needs to memory, while I would like to keep user information on the attached disk.
Help if you understand this. Thanks in advance.
