    Yes, AFAIK, it's gone for good.

    Hope that's not too bad!

    @kcah

    Trash is a feature of 'upgraded PCManFM' or PCManFM2.
    You can, as I have, upgrade simply with Synaptic;
    however, I advise against it at present, unless you
    are prepared to deal with a lot of unintended consequences.

    There are others who have solved these problems, but
    even so there remain some loose ends in the upgraded
    PCManFM. I have been using it for a month or so with no
    ill effects, but it has a number of quirks and things
    that don't work, or don't work like you'd expect.

    You can find more detail if you use the forum search feature
    in the upper right corner. Put in PCManFM2 and see my rant
    and other possibly calmer voices on the matter.

    All these problems with upgrading PCManFM seem to have
    been the result of not recognizing the need to upgrade
    LXDE components at the same time.

    Synaptic doesn't tell you so, but you will find any
    element that begins with 'lx' ought to be upgraded
    as well as PCManFM to get the whole system to work right.

    This includes at least lxinput, lxsession, lxterminal
    and lxpanel.

    Open up synaptic to ALL repos to make sure you capture
    all the possible 'lx...' elements capable of being
    upgraded.

    PCManFM-upgraded works really well when it has all the right
    LXDE supporting structure upgraded along with it.

    If you are asking in which directory the files are listed after they are deleted using PCManFM but before Trash is emptied with PCManFm, I believe it is ~/.local/share/Trash .
