Newbie - Problem booting Knoppix 3.2

Hi,

I have burnt the ISO to a disc and attempting to run the CD, the main welcome screen appears, and I hit enter and get the following -


PCI : Device 00: 1f.1 not available because of resource collisions
Welcome to the KNOPPIX live Linux-On-CD!
Probing SCSI... aic7xxx.o


and nothing it stops, dead and i have to reset.

I have tried using knoppix no{scsi}, but nothing.
What am i doing wrong?

Got it to load using failsafe!!!

Try booting like this:

boot: knoppix noscsi

According to the error you're getting you have an IRQ conflict. If you can only get it to boot w/ failsafe do a

dmesg | less

And look for any errors you may find.
