Issue with update manager

Hi, This is my first time using Knoppix, do anyone know why i am getting these errors when i running Update Manager program? W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.c.debian.org/debian/dists...ze/Release.gpg Could not resolve 'ftp.c.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.c.debian.org/debian/dists...slation-de.bz2 Could not resolve 'ftp.c.debian.org' W: Failed to fetch http://ftp.c.debian.org/debian/dists...slation-en.bz2 Could not resolve 'ftp.c.debian.org' W: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead. I have no ftp.c.debian.org entry's in my sources.list
a temporary solution is doing

sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

and search for lines going like this:

deb http://ftp.c.debian.org...

and add a "#" before them.

those repositorys will not be used anymore
