...run Xsane as a normal user? I'm setting up a scanning station for my wife to use (on an OLD laptop). When run as normal user, it doesn't find any scanning device. When run with 'sudo' from command line it runs, but with a big WARNING. Any way to get it to work as a normal user?
Also, I've installed Firefox and set up a Desktop 'soft' link to run it. How do I change the icon? It shows with a generic 'sheet of paper' icon.
Thanks.
