Hello folks.

Compaq Presario CQ60-215dx, ethernet controller is "Atheros Communications Inc. AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter". Knoppix 6.4.4 installed to USB stick--wireless button shows blue (enabled), but "wireless is disconnected" shows on network popup.

Which drivers do I need to use for this, or is it an issue with Knoppix disabling wireless by default? I've found reference to madwifi or ath5k, but neither explicitly supports AR5001.

Any ideas?
