My best recommendation at this point is to look at the Cheatcodes file on your Knoppix disk with whatever OS you have installed, assuming it is working (sometimes it's not, and that's why Knoppix is being tried.) You can also try the hints available by hitting F2 at the time the boot prompt appears.
