My apologies, but it doesn't seem to me that the question has been answered. I typically run Knoppix on my MacBook Pro and I would like to be able to set the timezone to "Los Angeles" (PST/ UTC-and enable NTP. But I am "...not allowed to save the configuration...".
Can someone please tell me if this is possible without the need to change the system BIOS etc.?
Thank you for the help!
