Does Knoppix 6.7.1 support USB3?

Have been unable to access any USB3 devices on a USB3 Expresscard adapter under Knoppix 6.7.1

Has anyone succeeded in doing this?

I'm able to access the USB3 ports using Puppy 5.2.8 with a driver installed, and natively with Puppy Slacko 5.29.6.

Is the linux kernel used by 6.7.1 too old to support USB3, or is there some problem with expresscard bus support?
