Would it not be better to have rekonq added to future releases rather than knoqueror? Ive tried to add it to the CD but without success. Always complains about dependency. I have not tried changes in the sources.list to correct due to not knowing what repository might help resolve the issue. Anyone tried this?

I would suggest that you try

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -t testing install rekonq

You will need about 450 MB of free disk space.
